Tasting Notes

Appearance: Rich purple colour
Wine Style: Dry

Bouquet & Palate: A Good intensity of colour, with a young and vibrant red – purple hue. Lots of chewy black fruits on the nose, with some notes of orange peel. A palate loaded with balanced fruit, with very appealing ripe, slightly spicy tannins, and fairly soft acidity.

About The Harvest

All grapes were hand picked and sorted before being destemmed and crushed directly into tanks.

In The Cellar

Pure yeast culture was inoculated The juice was pumped over the skins 3-5 times per day for 5 days. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was drained of the primary lees and transferred to a resting tank. Malolactic fermentation and a brief settling period preceded the wine to a combination of 225 litre barrels of French and American oak types.
