His first day on the farm was spent chipping ice off his windscreen, a somewhat frosty reception to Elgin’s unforgiving cool climate which is unfamiliar territory for a man from the timid climes of Somerset West.
Brad brings a wealth of experience, having spearheaded household brands such as Bramptons and Boschendal. He will now apply his creative energy to promoting the many fascinating attributes of Oak Valley, and, in particular, their outstanding wines.
When asked how he wanted to impact the brand over the coming 5 years, his response was candid, saying….Oak Valley is absolutely remarkable, it literally has some of the ‘coolest' vineyards in South Africa and the sheer beauty, heritage and diversity of the farm creates incredible wines with depth of character. Oak Valley is a wonderful find for wine lovers all over the world, all I have to do is help the process along its natural trajectory.
