A Taste of Raka

• Raka Sauvignon Blanc: Pale straw colour with a lavish bouquet of grapefruit, kumquat, granadilla and a touch of gooseberries. These characters follow through to the palate complemented by mineral tones true to the decomposed sandstone in which the Sauvignon Blanc is cultivated. Crisp green apple finish.

• Raka Spliced: Easy drinking red blend. Ripe red fruit, berries and prunes with earthy undertone. Medium-bodied and fruit filled on the palate with a smoky undertone and slight oak finish.

• Raka Pinotage: Raka Pinotage shows earthy and dusty blue fruit with hints of malty toffee adding to the fruity succulence. Hints of pleasant dry spice. Gentle but firm medium bodied structure with a balanced and polished finish.

• Raka Sangiovese: Ruby red in colour and perfumed and aromatic nose with cherry and roasted tomato with hints of oregano, mulberries, and juicy plums. The palate is well balanced with additional layers of spicy earthy tones, sundried tomatoes and cloves. A natural acidity adds to the lingering aftertaste.

• Raka Quinary: Appearance: Dark plum colourBouquet & Palate: Blackberries, plum spicy hints and cedar against a cigar box background. The wine is well balanced with mouth filling fruit, elegant oak flavours and silky tannins.

• Raka Biography Shiraz: Dark ruby colour with liquorice and vanilla on the nose. Lots of herb-tinge with black, dark and jammy fruit. Palate is smooth and elegant with a full mid-palate. Vanilla,  cigarbox and chocolate on the refined finish. Earthy and savoury
