Raka Wine Tasting

Visit the tasting room at Raka Wines, Stanford, to taste Raka wines and shop for local deli products.

When you are in the Stanford region, please visit us at Raka Wines. We are only 17 km from Stanford on the R326.

At our tasting room, we offer our daily selection of eight wines for tasting at R60 per person. If you would like to taste any additional wines, it is R15 per wine. Unfortunately, the Erica range is not available for tasting.

We don't have a restaurant, but we have a small deli-style shop that sells local products like cheese, olives, relish, biscuits, nuts, and more. Create your own selection of snacks to enjoy while tasting.

Directions

Via Caledon: From Cape Town take the N2 to Caledon. Take the Caledon-Bredasdorp road (R316) towards Bredasdorp. After 29km turn right onto the R326 towards Stanford. At exactly 6km from the intersection, Raka is on your left.
Via Hermanus: Take the R43 from Hermanus to Stanford. At Stanford turn left onto the R326 towards Riviersonderend. After 17km, Raka will be on your right
From the Garden Route: After Riviersonderend continue on the N2 for 11 km, then turn to your left onto the R326 to Rietpoel/Stanford. After 28km, the R326 crosses the Caledon- Bredasdorp Road. Continue straight for a further 6km. Raka will be on your left.
