Raka Quinary did it again, but this time in Durban

Raka Quinary did it again, but this time in Durban
published on:

Raka was voted Jo’burgs favourite Red Wine by Wine-writers, Cape Wine Masters and knowledgeable wine club members at the Oyster Festival at Brightwater Commons, Randburg in June this year, the second time a wine from Raka was honoured in such a manner.

At the Mercury Wine Week in Durban - the longest running Durban Wine Festival- Raka Quinary was again voted most popular red wine on Show for two nights in a row. This time however, it was the public visiting the show that voted.

Raka’s owner Piet Dreyer is owner the moon. ’I have always maintained that we produce this lovely wine for Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses and all the lovely people who come to taste my wine at the wine shows. Now they have rewarded my by voting the Raka Quinary the best Red wine on show (again!). I am so proud and grateful. I think you should all Vote RAKA – a better wine for all.’

For those Durbanites who missed the opportunity to taste Raka at the Mercury, be sure to visit The Good Food And Wine Show at the Durban Exhibition Centre, from 24 - 26 August. Raka will be on stand W24. For all the jealous Johannesburgers: you will get your turn when Raka visits the Getaway Show at the Coca Cola Dome 31 August - 2 September 2012.
